10 states with the richest school districts in the US

Not all school districts in the United States have the same level of spending and this has to do directly with the amount of budget each zone receives and, of course, who spends on each student.

Although the discussion about the relationship between spending and school performance has been a controversial constant, there are studies that do associate higher spending per student with their best future academic and professional opportunities.

Public schools receive the majority of their budgets from local sources, such as property tax collectionand that’s often one of the first factors that determine how much money districts can spend.

It is at this point that the statement that higher spending per student can positively influence their future becomes relevant, since in the country there are hundreds of school districts with budget shortfallsand a few who can be considered rich.

The site specialized in listings 24/7 Wall Street. conducted a study based on data from the Census Bureau and the National Center for Education Statistics to determine which states have the richest school districts; namely, those with the highest annual spending per student.

As part of the study, the average family income was also taken into account in school zones with at least 100 students and with data on the income of their families, which was detected on average between $90,500 dollars and more than $450,000 dollars annually.
