Nevertheless, nearly three million Californians continue to collect some form of unemployment insurance, that for about two million of them, the benefits for the pandemic will come to an end this next September 4.
The Employment Development Department (EDD) is warning people to be prepared. Millions of people who lost their jobs due to the coronavirus pandemic are about to lose their benefits as well.
In the entity about three million people have some type of unemployment insurance but those who enjoy federal benefits of $ 300 per week will stop receiving them at the end of this week.
