A video is circulating on social networks where a drone captures the shootout between the Northeast Cartel and the Gulf Cartel, which has allegedly occurred recently.

This demonstrates the dispute between the criminal cells in Tamaulipas, an entity governed by the Morenista Américo Villarreal, accused of having links with the Northeast Cartel.

It is worth noting that this Wednesday, October 19, the morning conference of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) is being held from the state.

In addition, during his visit to Tamaulipas, the Mexican president pledged to reinforce security in the state through a Plan.

VIDEO: Drone shootout between the Northeast Cartel and the Gulf Cartel

Via Twitter, Fox News reporter Bill Melugin shared the video in which a drone captures the shootout between the Northeast Cartel and the Gulf Cartel.

According to the journalist, the video was recovered by the Texas Department of Public Safety and recorded by a drone of the Cartels in dispute.

The video shows a shootout between the Northeast Cartel and the Gulf Cartel, which took place in one of the streets of Ciudad Miguel Aleman in Tamaulipas.

The shootout video shows four vehicles with .50 caliber machine guns on a highway in front of Valle del Rio Grande in Texas.

The confrontation was allegedly over control of an important smuggling corridor and allegedly occurred in recent days, although no exact date was given.

In the video, the vehicles can be seen at a distance, in addition to the lights generated by the detonations of the weapons.

Dispute between the Gulf Cartel and the Northeast Cartel

The dispute between the Gulf Cartel and the Northeast Cartel in Tamaulipas dates back years. It is even reported that the former resurfaced after the capture of its leader with the help of the Navy, putting an end to the latter.

This way, the conflict between the two criminal cells divided Tamaulipas, taking control of different cities in the state.

More on Mexican Cartels:

In the Gulf Cartel’s case, it controls Reynosa, Matamoros, Ciudad Victoria, and the port of Altamira. In contrast, the Northeast Cartel, a criminal cell formed after the split of the Zetas and led by Juan Treviño Chávez “El Huevo,” has control of Nuevo Laredo, Monterrey (Nuevo León), and Texas (United States).

Thus, the conflict for the control of territory continues, with the most recent signs of the fight between both cartels being the discovery of dismembered bodies and narco-messages in the town of Los Guerra, in Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas.

“Like Captain Málaga who sells to the operatives of the Northeast Cartel with those mar*con*s of the Gulf Cartel. Cousin, here I have left your mechanics in pieces. Everyone in Reynosa has to be f*cking vigilant because ‘La Cabra’ has everything for sale.”
