American siblings reported missing in Nuevo Leon found safe and sound

After disappearing in Nuevo Leon, American siblings Hugo and Aranza were found alive in Veracruz, bringing relief amid a series of disappearances of US citizens in Mexico.

Authorities of Nuevo Leon deactivated the search records of siblings Hugo Yarset and Aranza Yosemiti Monfort Luna, nine and 16 years old, respectively, American minors who were reported missing last March 17 in the Real de San Felipe neighborhood in the municipality of Garcia.

According to national media, both children were found alive in Veracruz and are already with their parents. More details about the case are unknown, but it was reported that the children are in good health.

At the beginning of the week, search reports circulated for the two missing U.S. minors in Nuevo Leon. Through the Specialized Immediate Search Group (GEBI), part of the Nuevo Leon Attorney General’s Office, the search reports for the minors were issued.

The absence of these two minors occurred amid the tense relationship between Mexico and the country to the north after the disappearance of four Americans in Matamoros, Tamaulipas was also registered, of which two were found dead and two alive.

According to the data issued through the search records of the two minors, Hugo Yarset, nine years old, has dark brown and straight hair, a thin complexion, light brown complexion, dark brown eyes, and a height of 1.10 meters. And her sister Aranza Yosemiti, 16 years old, also has dark brown and straight hair, a thin complexion, with a height of 1.60 meters; as a particular feature, it is mentioned that she has a brown spot on the right side of her cheek.
