Anya Taylor – Joy is an actress who is always one step ahead of the others, as a result of which she has become a star worldwide. The 25-year-old celebrity surprised all her fans with a video where the protagonist of ‘Lady’s Gambit’ is seen singing a song titled ‘Downtown’, song that will be part of the soundtrack of his next film ‘Last Night in Soho’Perhaps a curious fact that many of us did not know about the actress until now. ‘Last Night in Soho’ will be directed by Edgar wright (Baby Driver, The Sparks Brothers, Scott Pilgrim vs The World, Hot Fuzz, Shaun of The Dead) and will adapt the classic novel by Petula clark. This psychological horror film tells the story of a young woman with a passion for fashion design, who may mysteriously enter the 1960s to meet his idol, a dazzling aspiring singer (character played by Anya Taylor -Joy). However, the city of London in the 60s is not what it seems, and time begins to crumble with grim consequences.

Seeing that this next film project will have Edgar Wright himself as director, we can only think one thing: ‘Last Night in Soho’ will have a very large musical section where viewers can fully immerse themselves in the ghostly and mysterious atmosphere in this film. Anya Taylor – Joy will star in ‘Last Night in Soho’ alongside Thomasin Harcourt Mackenzie, Matt Smith, Terence Stamp, Diana Rigg, Rita Tushingham, Michael Ajao and Synnøve Karlsen.
