Amazon Prime Video plans to culminate in 2021 with its innovative catalog of avant-garde feature films that force the subscribing files of this streaming service to never detach themselves from the screens while they are watching the staging of the films. Without a doubt, one of the film productions most awaited by the audience is ‘Being the Ricardos’, the biographical tape that will tell the origins about the love relationship of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz and how that courtship became one of the most famous couples of the moment.
The cast of ‘Being the Ricardos’ is made up of Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem, who will be the talented and brilliant Hollywood actors who will bring to the big screen a superb performance of the romantic story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz. Likewise, Nicole Kidman and Javier Bardem will share the screen with Nina Aranda, JK Simmons, Alia Shawkat, Tony Hale and Clark Gregg.
‘Being the Ricardos’ will feature American screenwriter and Academy Award winner Aaron Surkin (The Trial of the Chicago 7, The Newsroom and Maximum Bet) exercising the role of director and writer of this new film project that It will be produced by Amazon Studios.
This film will tell the story of Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz’s relationship and how these two characters will give viewers a deeper look at the acclaimed sitcom. ‘I Love Lucy’, which was a mythical program that revolutionized the sitcom industry to date.
Later, Being the Ricardos will explore in greater depth the couple’s marital problems, including their careers on television and their marriage. In this film they will also tell about all the controversial scandal that starred in Lucille Ball while being investigated by the FBI through the Committee on Un-American Activities, as it was revealed that the comedian was member of the Communist Party in 1936.
‘Being the Ricardos’ will be released in theaters on December 10, 2021, while on Amazon Prime Video it will arrive on December 21.
