Cast of ‘Hasta Que La Plata Nos Separe’: Telemundo confirms Carmen Villalobos and Sebastián Martínez in a new telenovela


Telemundo has confirmed the cast of its new telenovela that will be made by RCN Television in Colombia, “Hasta Que La Plata Nos Separe”. The production is about a new adaptation of the success of the writer of “Yo Soy Betty, La Fea”, Fernando Gaitan.

The original story had such a huge success in its native Colombia that Televisa in Mexico bought the rights to make their own version. That version was made in 2010 with Itatí Cantoral and Peter Fernandez in the leading roles and was called “Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe“.

The beginning of recordings has taken place in Bogotá where carmen villalobos and Sebastian Martinez they met with the rest of the cast to start the new project.

The star cast also includes Gregorio Pernia (That’s how you dance, without breasts if there is a paradise) already Juliette Pardau (Falsa Identidad, La Nieta Elegida) as antagonists, and has the special participation of renowned Mexican actors alexander tommasi (Wanting it all, for loving without law) and Laura Flowers (My Perfect Family, Lady Steel), along with Stephanie Duke (End of Paradise, The Chosen Granddaughter), Fabian Rios (100 Days to Fall in Love, End of Paradise), Julian Arango (I am Betty, the Ugly, Narcos) and Lorna Cepeda (I am Betty, the Ugly, To Love You). The series will air on Telemundo this year.

This dramatic comedy tells the love story of Rafael Méndez (Martínez), a charismatic and humble merchant, and Alejandra Maldonado (Villalobos), a successful high-ranking executive; who meet by accident causing a clash of emotions that will end up turning their lives completely upside down.

“I am immensely happy to be in this great project! It is a great honor to participate for the second time and consecutively in another great story of the genius Fernando Gaitán, this time as the protagonist. I am happy to bring to life the successful Alejandra Maldonado, a wonderful, unique character, with a personality like a roller coaster, full of nuances and also in a genre with a touch of comedy,” Villalobos said. “The contrast between Alejandra and Rafael, their different ways of looking at life, the difference in social classes…and the adventures they will live, will unleash spontaneous moments of great comedy in the midst of all the drama and this will keep the audience hooked on the story” , assured.

Rafael Méndez (Martínez) is a prolific seller of all kinds of household products of peasant origin, while Alejandra Maldonado (Villalobos), a woman of aristocratic origin, is the successful Commercial Manager of the Ramenautos dealership. Rafael has a relationship with Vicky Pardo (Pardau), a sensual and jealous neighbor. Alejandra is about to marry Luciano Valenzuela (Pernía), her prince charming. One fine day, fate crosses Alejandra with Rafael in a fatal accident and, from then on, her lives and those of the people close to them will never be the same. Rafael will have to do everything possible to pay off the debt he has left Alejandra with after the accident and this closeness will lead them to fall in love despite the social differences. However, the circumstances and their respective families and partners will do everything possible so that the love that has arisen between them does not materialize, but in the end, will they be able to keep their great love together, or will they allow money to separate them? ?

The main cast is completed by Alina Lozano, José Daniel Cristancho, Michelle Roullard, Juliana Galvis, Marcela Benjumea, Alejandra Ávila, Julio Sánchez, Matías Maldonado, Ezequiel Bernal, Tuto Patiño, Felipe Botero, Rodrigo Jerez, Julián Caicedo and Fernando Arévalo.

Till Silver Separates Us is a RCN Television production for Telemundo inspired by the original story by Fernando Gaitán. This new version was adapted by Juan Carlos Pérez Flores who was also in charge of the script together with Patricia Rodríguez Reyes. Directed by Israel Sánchez and Olga Lucía Rodríguez, the production is in charge of Yalile Giordanelli.
