The Mexican pilot Sergio “Checo” Pérez he almost managed to take third place in the Qatar Grand Prix of Formula 1. However, an error by the team ended up sending him to fourth position.

After coming out in 11th place on the grid, “Checo” was able to climb each of the positions to touch the third place, which was ultimately unable to consolidate due to what it described as a “bad strategy” by Redbull.

At the end of the race, in which Lewis Hamilton ranked first and Max Verstappen second, Checo held a conversation with the engineer of the team, where he showed his discontent.

“Fernando Alonso was saved by the Virtual Safety Car,” said the engineer, and the Mexican responded “No, I think we were wrong today, friend.”.
