Checo Perez finishes in 16th place Verstappen wins Monaco GP

Experiencing highs and lows, Verstappen emerges victorious while Perez faces challenges at the intense Monaco GP.

Dutch driver Max Verstappen, reigning double world champion, won the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix on Sunday, further strengthening his lead in this season’s overall standings after this sixth round of the World Championship.

Verstappen led the day’s podium in the Principality, with Spanish veteran Fernando Alonso (Aston Martin) second and Frenchman Esteban Ocon (Alpine) third.
