Chivas de Guadalajara continues its good run in the Apertura 2022 and climbs positions in the table

The sacred herd got back on track in the 2022 Opening, as it has had positive results in the last five matches, in which with two draws and three victories accumulated a new triumphadding up thus a sixth party without knowing the defeat.

This last triumph came thanks to goals from Luis Olivas and Roberto ‘Piojo’ Alvarado, two elements who were in charge of scoring for the 2-1 in favor of Chivas, who saw how Franco Di Santo placed the one of honor in favor of the Xolos de Tijuana.

For the first goal, Alvarado entered the rival area after a significant change of pace and ended up shooting on goal to beat goalkeeper Jonathan Orozco at minute 47.‘ with a ball stuck to the grass.

Subsequently, Di Santo to the center of Renato Ibarra, placed the 1-1, being an important goal not only for the commitment, but for the Tijuana team, as it meant the team’s first goal after a drought of four games without being able to score.

But, although the Xolos bench celebrated the entry, oliveswith a great goal, ruined the night for the local team, because used a free kick to catch the ball with a left-footed shot into the corner at 67′ and thus configure the list of scorers of the match held last Wednesday night.

After getting the three points in the Caliente Stadium, Chivas climbed to seventh place in the table with 19 pointssix from the direct qualifying zone and with four games to play within the Apertura 2022.

On the other hand, Xolos has five consecutive losing matches, so sinks outside the Repechage zone by staying with 15 units.
