Chivas de Guadalajara it is a ship adrift. Since the departure of Victor Manuel Vucetich there have been many names of coaches who have come to assume the reins of the “Sacred Flock”. Although Marcelo Michel Leaño has done a good job in the club, there are still three names to give life to Chivas in Liga MX.
The first name is about Dutch John Van’t Schip. Although the strategist himself did not confirm a contact with the board of the “Herd”, from the club media they still place him as a possible tab on the board of directors.
On the other hand is Jaime lozano. The former coach of The Tri Olympic it was handled between the candidates of the club. Even, “Jimmy” would have rejected an offer from Xolos de Tijuana, a club that ended up hiring the former assistant to Diego Armando Maradona, Sebastián Méndez. Lozano continues to be one of the candidates to assume the reins of the team, despite the uncertainty of his future since the end of the Tokyo 2020 Olympics.
Finally, among the candidates to lead the Guadalajara first team is a coach who is currently exercising his duties with another Liga MX club. Guillermo Almada, current strategist of the Santos Laguna, would be the third in contention among this list of candidates. The Uruguayan technical director has had a correct job at the command of the Warriors and would be in charge of giving the board one of his most desired goals: short-term results.
For now, time passes and the bases of Chivas de Guadalajara remain totally unstable. As long as their leaders do not speak out to make their true intentions known, Marcelo Michel Leaño will have a new replacement for each week. Meanwhile, the historic “Sacred Flock” is still looking for the bench leader to bring the club back to its best days of yore.
