CJNG, Sinaloa Cartel, Gulf Cartel and Los Zetas guilty of violence in Cancun, authorities say

Drug traffickers Los Zetas Cartel (CDZ) and the Gulf Cartel (CDG), the Sinaloa Cartel (CDS) and the Jalisco Nueva Generación Cartel (CJNG) They have provoked violence in Quintana Roo, one of the favorite states of tourists in Mexico.

According to Mexican authorities, it is about the dispute between four large criminal groups and their multiple cells to dominate drug dealing on the beaches of the tourist state of Quintana Roo in Mexico, which atomized the violence in that Caribbean destination.

These organizations have multiple criminal branches, which has unleashed shootings in broad daylight and in which even tourists have been killed.

Some of these cells are the so-called Cancun Cartel, made up of former members of the aforementioned organizations or the Taliban, a group that broke away from Los Zetas.

They also warned that the Pelones Cartel (which works for the Sinaloa Cartel), the Bonfil Cartel (supposedly led by former police and ministerial officers), La Barredora (made up of former CJNG gunmen) and Zetas Vieja Escuela, another spin-off of Los Zetas.

In turn, these same cells divide into other subgroups to distribute cocaine, marijuana, and methamphetamine to tourists.
