Cocktails in honor of the desktop


Preserving traditional recipes and sparking conversation around the table is at the heart of Latino culture. To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Rémy Martin wants to honor the ritual of Sobremesa, that moment after dinner where it is shared among family and friends.

And to bring after-meal flavor to cocktail lovers, the brand with nearly 300 years of producing fine champagne cognac joined forces with Cocktail Courier to create Latin-inspired drinks representative of the classics, such as the coquito, the mojito and the Bleeding.

In order to facilitate the preparation of these drinks, the Rémy Martin Sangría kit and the Coquito kit will be available until October 15, on the Rémy Martin website and at cocktailcourier.com.

Remy Sangria

Kit Ingredients:

1 bottle Remy Martin VSOP 375 ml

1 bottle of Cointreau® of 375 ml

1 bottle El Coto Rioja Crianza 375ml

1 4 oz bottle simple syrup

3 limes

3 lemons

3 oranges

1 Bitter Aromatic 15g bottle

2 Rémy Martin stemless wine glasses

1 Rémy Martin recipe card

Preparation:

Cut a lime and an orange into wheels to decorate and reserve.

Juice the remaining limes and oranges and add to a 32 oz pitcher along with measured amounts of Rémy Martin VSOP, Cointreau, El Coto Rioja Crianza, aromatic bitters and simple syrup.

Add fresh ice and lightly stir your cocktail.

Garnish with lime wedges and orange slices.

Pour the cocktail into the glass and top with fresh ice.

The Remy Coquito

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal

0.75 oz evaporated milk

0.75 oz cream of coconut

0.5 oz condensed milk

½ tablespoon vanilla extract

Garnish: grated cinnamon powder and nutmeg

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth.

Pour into an 8 oz rocks glass

It is recommended to serve without ice.

Grate cinnamon and nutmeg on top.

The Remy Mojito

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal

1 oz fresh lemon juice

0.5 oz simple syrup

1 ounce sparkling water

1 handful of mint

Garnish: mint sprig

Preparation:

Add all ingredients except sparkling water to shaker, shake with a small handful of crushed ice (this doesn’t break up the mint leaves as much).

Pour ingredients into a collins glass with ice, top with sparkling water and garnish with a sprig of mint.

Ingredients:

2 oz Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal

20g Cointreau

0.75 oz fresh lemon juice

1 splash of passion fruit puree

Garnish: lemon twist

Preparation:

Add all ingredients to shaker, fill with ice, shake, double strain into coupe glass. Cut the lemon twist to decorate.
