Costco is bringing back one of the favorite cakes this fall and cheaper than last year

The chain of club-type stores relaunched one of its classics of the season hand in hand with a surprise that will surely be appreciated by many customers, in the midst of the galloping rise in prices due to inflation.

The Instagram account @costcobuys shared a video showing the iconic pumpkin pie on the shelves of one of the stores, whose presentation of 58 ounces and 3.63 pounds is sold at a price of $5.99 dollars, $1 cheaper than last year.

“Costco’s legendary pumpkin pie is a fall staple…we basically always have one in our fridge from September to November! It’s only $5.99, which is a dollar cheaper than last year!”says the post.

After the publication, the reactions have not been long in coming through internet forums. Users say on Reddit that even if you have the ingredients to prepare the recipe, you will not get the result of the pies that Costco sells through Kirkland Signature.

Something that stands out is that Costco decided to lower the price of the product in the midst of the inflationary panorama. Last July, the chain raised the price of several foods in the food court, including the Chicken bake, which increased by $1, from $2.99 ​​to $3.99, and the 20-ounce soda, which increased by ¢10 cents. , going from ¢0.59 cents to ¢0.69 cents–.

In addition to pumpkin pie, Costco recently launched other popular items for the new fall season, including apple crumble cheesecake, pumpkin streusel muffin, chocolate Halloween houses and white chocolate hot cocoa bombs. , eyeball-shaped white chocolate treats filled with mini marshmallows.

Other companies such as Starbucks, IHOP, 7-Eleven and Krispy Kreme have also launched new merchandise, as well as new dishes and drinks on their menus for the fall.
