
Cristiano Ronaldo joined Manchester United training for the first time on Tuesday after his signing for the English club and with the debut in the spotlight this Saturday against the Newcastle United.

The Portuguese player met this Tuesday at the United sports town of Carrington with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, coach of the ‘Red Devils’, and with the teammates who have not gone with their national teams. Cristiano received permission to fly to Manchester when he was suspended for the next match of the Portuguese team, after setting the record for international goals against Ireland.

Cristiano will live his second stage at Manchester United, club who left in 2009 to go to Real Madrid, from where he departed for Juventus from Turin in 2018, before returning to Manchester in this transfer market.

His debut could take place this Saturday against Newcastle at Old Trafford, already with the confirmation that he will wear the number ‘7’ on his shirt, which last season was Uruguayan Edinson Cavani.
