This morning, a collision between a passenger bus and a trailer in the Ciudad Victoria-Matamoros highway, left a preliminary balance four calcined people and 15 wounded. The trailer cabin and the bus were completely consumed by flames.
The bus left Tampico bound for Reynosa and at kilometer 132 after passing the La Coma checkpoint, hit the trailer. It turned out that the Transpais company bus was carrying at least 30 people.
Help units from the city of San Fernando came to the site to provide medical support to the injured passengers, several of whom were taken to hospitals for much more detailed care. After the accident, the spreading of the fuel unleashed a fire that in minutes consumed the bus.

The bus passengers managed to leave by their own means, however, they could not do anything to avoid the fire that began to consume the car. For now, there is no clear reason for the fire.
Civil Protection authorities put down the flames, initiating the investigation into these unfortunate events as well as the identification of the passengers by competent authorities.
Deadly accident on the Tamaulipas highway

Due to the position of the accident, local authorities hope to clear the road in a few hours once the investigations into the accident on the San Fernando-Victoria highway are completed.
At the start of the holiday period for the holiday season, the Ministry of Tourism expects 800 thousand visitors in Tamaulipas, when arriving people from Nuevo León, San Luis Potosí, Mexico City, Hidalgo and the Bajío area, both to natural sites and to events organized by municipalities and the private sector.
