A music producer denounced Daddy Yankee, and the news has gone around the world because he is currently on his farewell tour called “La última Vuelta World Tour.”

That is why he performed last September 27,28, and 29 in Chile to meet his public in that country, and while he was there, the artist had to testify before the Chilean police for a fraud complaint.

According to Cooperativa Chile, the Economic Crimes Brigade of the Investigative Police PDI carried out the case, and Cristián Argomedo, a local producer, filed the accusation. He argues the forgery of private instruments and the presentation of false evidence.

According to Encancha Chile, in 2018, Daddy Yankee canceled three concerts in Chile produced by Empire Digital, a firm to which Cristián Argomedo belongs. According to the producer, the objective is to demonstrate that he deceived Chilean justice during those four years.

“We were defamed. We suffered a loss of profit, damaging our patrimony,” said the producer.
