David and Victoria Beckham are one of the richest couples in England, according to Marie Claire UK. They can afford to try different new dishes at the highest end restaurants, but the Spice Girl prefers to stick to an eating routine and has eaten the same thing for the past 25 years, as revealed by the football legend.

In the latest episode of the River Café Table 4 podcast, David Beckham shared his passion for food “I get very excited about food and wine, when I eat something good I want everyone to try it”.

David noted that he likes to cook and inherited his love of cooking from his mother and grandmother. For her wife, with whom he shares four children, he also usually prepares her food to pamper her.

According to the former soccer player, Since meeting the 47-year-old fashion designer, she has only eaten grilled fish and steamed vegetables. Victoria has also listed whole-grain salted toast as her favorite comfort food and stated that she doesn’t like butter or sauces.

David told Ruthie Rogers that unlike him, his wife always eats the same thing and rarely strays. He only remembers one occasion when Victoria, being pregnant with her daughter Harper, ate from her plate.

The victory diet integrates two of the foods that nutritionists and other health experts recommend the most.

Fish is a highly nutritious food that can help keep you healthy and benefit your skin. It is rich in proteins that help collagen production and maintain muscle mass, which begins to decrease with age.

Fatty fish like salmon, mackerel, sardines, and tuna are high in omega-3 fats that can help prevent heart disease and stroke; and have also been linked to memory benefits.

The consumption of fruits and vegetables is an important part of a healthy diet. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) share that consumption of fruits and vegetables can support immune function and prevent chronic diseases such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and some types of cancer.

Adults should consume the equivalent of 1.5 to 2 cups of fruit and 2 to 3 cups of vegetables each day.

The consumption of vegetables and fish may be the key for Victoria to maintain radiant skin. In the past, Beckham said he used to have “really problem skin” until he started eating more salmonon the advice of his dermatologist in Los Angeles, named Dr. Harold Lancer.
