Burgos beat Real Oviedo this Wednesday in a friendly in which, despite being narrowly defeated, the blue team enjoyed the debut of the two Mexicans who have joined their ranks, full-back Alonso Aceves and midfielder Marcelo Flores, who were one of the highlights of the match performing together on the left wing.
The Carbayón team started the match dominating the ball, very comfortable with the role of Hugo Rama along with Jimmy and Javi Mier in midfield and constantly relying on the duo formed by Marcelo Flores and Alonso Aceves on the left.
The midfielder teamed up with Rama on the inside, and the winger offered himself on more than one occasion not only to reach the baseline and cross, but also to end up making a wall on the inside and even look for his own shot.
Fran García had the clearest chance for Burgos, who retaliated against the blue dominance in the last minutes of the first half, and Oviedo, meanwhile, did not go ahead because the wood avoided it after a whiplash by Hugo Rama to the squad .
In the second half, a penalty by Javi Moreno on Matos decided the game in favor of the Burgos players when the match hour had just passed: it was Mumo who was in charge of beating Tomeu from eleven meters and almost definitively overtaking the yours on the scoreboard.
Until then, Marcelo and Aceves had done their tricks down the left flank, but without either ending in a goal despite the fact that both combined in depth time and time again, leaving details of their good form despite the fact that they were their first preseason minutes.
Bolo also brought in Borja Sánchez and Sergi Enrich, who had not played up to now either, but had hardly any impact -especially the Balearic- in a game in which Valcarce was one of the highlights of the Burgos team and in which Caro He avoided a tie at the end after winning a heads-up match with Miguelón.
Burgos thus signs its second victory of the summer -it has one defeat, two wins and a draw-, while Oviedo still has not resolved its main problem so far this preseason: after facing Racing de Ferrol, Eibar and Burgos have not yet has managed to see the door.
