This was part of a scheduled visit to Monterrey that Elon Musk has had for a year to review several projects to bring to the region.
Elon Musk later held a meeting with the state governor, Samuel Garcia, with whom he discussed several points regarding the investments that can be made in Nuevo Leon.
Finally, Mariana Rodriguez and Samuel Garcia invited Tesla’s owner to tour the Monterrey metropolitan area.
Elon Musk was proposed to create a production corridor
The main proposal made to Elon Musk during his visit to Monterrey was the creation of a production corridor for Tesla components.
That is, to expand the manufacturing of electric car parts in the various Tesla factories installed in Monterrey, attracting the company’s investment.
