Elton John has Covid-19 and cancels his concerts in Dallas

With an extensive message that captured the public’s attention, the British singer Elton John announced that two of his shows in the United States would be canceled after test positive for Covid-19. How is your health? Read on to find out the details.

Through social networks, the interpreter of “Sacrifice” announced that the concerts scheduled for this Tuesday and Wednesday in Dallas, Tx, are postponed until further noticeand that although his desire to return to the stage is great, he prefers to keep his fans and team safe.

“It is always a huge disappointment to postpone shows and I am so sorry to anyone who has been affected by this, but I want to keep myself and my team safe,” the 74-year-old musician said in the statement he released.

To avoid any type of concern, Elton John informed his followers that he has not presented aggressive symptoms: “Fortunately, I am fully vaccinated and booster vaccinated and my symptoms are mild”he pointed.

Likewise, the music legend assured that he hopes to be sufficiently recovered to be able to rejoin his tour, whose next show on January 29 in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Regarding the new date of the concerts of the “Farewell Yellow Brick Road” tour, which were scheduled for January 25 and 26, Elton and the American Airlines Center in Dallas (venue where the shows will take place), informed that those who purchased tickets for those dates, will be able to attend when it is rescheduled.
