After almost two decades without approaching the acting scene, after his acclaimed performance in ‘8 Mile’, Eminem returns to the screen as part of a new series produced by rapper 50 cent.
Singer and actor will play Richard Wershe Jr., known as White Boy Rick, in the fiction called ‘Black Mafia Family’ that will air on Starz.
It was through social media that 50 Cent shared the news with the message:
“I’m going to take out the big dogs. I couldn’t do a Detroit-set series without the legend Eminem. He will play White Boy Rick on Black Mafia Family, ”he tweeted, accompanying the publication with a photo of the artist alongside the image of White Boy Rick.
Eminem He will be part of the cast along with other actors such as Russell Hornsby, Steve Harris, Ajiona Alexus, Jon Chaffin, Tyshon Freeman, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Michole Briana White or Sydney Mitchell, among others.
‘Black Mafia Family’ will have a first season of eight chapters and It will premiere on Starz starting next September 26.
