Emma Coronel boasted a life of luxury and opulence on social media after the life sentence of her husband, Chapo Guzmán, after being arrested on February 22 in Washington on drug trafficking charges, Mariel Colón, her lawyer denounced how her client spends her days in prison.
Her lawyer has denounced that she spends the whole day locked up and that they only let her out once a day for two hours from her cell.
For the moment, Emma Coronel’s fate is still a mystery after last June 10, after almost four months of negotiations with prosecutors, her lawyers reached an agreement for the former beauty queen to plead guilty to the three charges against her for conspiring to traffic drugs to the United States and money laundering.

The woman indicated by United States authorities of making a fortune importing thousands of pounds of cocaine and methamphetamine from South America, for which she was also considered the most powerful woman in the world. Sinaloa Cartel.

What Fernandez, 60, provided key assistance to federal prosecutors on drug trafficking in Culiacan to state United, the sentence was not greater.
La Patrona was the only woman charged along with Chapo Guzmán and other drug traffickers in a Chicago case, although Guzmán Loera was eventually tried in Brooklyn and sentenced to life in prison.
