Americas Poetry of New York Festival 2021
This year the Americas Poetry Festival of New York 2021 celebrates its eighth edition with a hyflex format that allows face-to-face and remote participation. Photographic exhibition “Sunday at 4”
The ACOMPI artistic project presents “Domingo a las 4”, the first public outdoor exhibition of the photographer, Mateo Arciniegas Huertas. Using a community playground and soccer field in Brooklyn, the artist will present 16 portraits of players from the Liga Gorytos Sports intramural soccer league. The series captures and celebrates local Latin American and Central American teammates in whom Huertas has found a familiar sense of camaraderie and community as a Colombian immigrant.
