Family, friends, and fans of Vicente Fernández have expressed support and dedicated prayers for the recovery of the 81-year-old singer, who has been hospitalized for four nights after suffering and neck fracture.
Camila and Alex Fernández, children of “El Potrillo,” offered touching messages to their grandfather through their respective Instagram accounts.
“We love you, tata. You are everyone’s strength,” wrote the 23-year-old at the bottom of a photo where she appears with her little Cayetana in her arms and next to Chente.
Alex also posted an image with Chente with the following message: “You are a warrior, tata. I love you.”
America Guinart, the mother of both singers and ex-partner of Alejandro Fernandez, added to the expressions of affection and prayers.
“Strong as an oak tree, always coming out ahead! This time will be no exception. The power of united prayer is stronger than everything. Everything will be fine, and everything will stay that way. I love him, daddy Vicente!” she dedicated at the bottom of a photograph of the singer.
Celebrities such as Maribel Guardia responded to Guinart’s message and joined the prayers for the health of the “Charro de Huentitán.”
“Our prayers with him,” commented the actress and singer.
For his part, Alejandro Fernández posted a photo of him with his father on Instagram, accompanied by the phrase: “Te amo pá.”
Fans’ reactions are also reflected in the musical icon’s social networks. After the medical report was shared yesterday to inform his current health condition, hundreds left positive comments and good wishes for the artist.
Vicente Fernandez is in intensive care after undergoing surgery due to a rachimedullary traumatism (neck fracture) derived from a fall he suffered on Friday in his room at Los Tres Potrillos ranch.
His wife, Doña Cuquita, and his sons Gerardo and Vicente Jr. have seen him only through glasses, as the singer is unconscious and connected to a ventilator that assists his breathing.
