In an interview for La Opinion we spoke with Carlos Hernandez CEO and founder of Crediverso, the first digital platform that offers Hispanics in the United States financial advice in both English and Spanish. It is the first credit check service for those who prefer or want to manage their finances completely in Spanish.

Crediverso’s mission is educational, with personalized financial products designed to serve more than 62 million Hispanic consumers who live or do business in the United States. Statistics indicate that these Hispanic consumers are 2 or 3 times more likely to not have a service in their language in traditional banking.

Traditional banks in the United States dedicate less than 4% of their budget to marketing for the Latino community in the country. Language is the main barrier for these consumers to approach banking, even for them to understand how to make their economy work better. At the same time, the American bank offers a minimum service in the Spanish language.

Who is the Crediverso service aimed at

  • To the Hispanic-American public, that is, more than 20% of the American population.
  • The undocumented Hispanic immigrant who wishes to apply for a credit card.

What type of services does Crediverso offer:

  • Credit check in Spanish.
  • Free education, blogging, and financial advice.
  • Build good credit.
  • Loans, offers the user to compare the main loans and find the most suitable for their finances.
  • Credit cards, teaching the consumer to obtain the credit card that suits him best. And in the future create the Crediverso Credit Card.
  • Financial vocabulary dictionary.
  • International remittance sending and supplier rate comparison market.

For this, Crediverso counteda with a team of nationally renowned finance experts who have created helpful educational guides on how to manage financially. In addition, the idea of this company is, among other things, to correct the products that financial institutions offer, so that they are also aimed at Latino clients, says Hernández.

With regard to remittances, which is an important market in the United States, we are talking about a global market that has a value of more than 700 billion dollars annually, does not have a good exact rate comparison between the providers of this service.

The Crediverso remittance market allows consumers to compare, with high technology, exchange rate prices, shipping and costs to send money to Latin America safely. To do this they work together with Western Union, Money Gram, Remitly, Wise, Worldremit, XE, Ria and Skrill.

Crediverso was founded in 2020 and in the future aspires to become a financial institution, but for the moment they provide advice to existing banks in the country and work together in order to improve their care and service to the speaking community. Hispanic.

To access Crediverso, you only have to register on its crediverso.com page, registration is 100% free and you only need an email address.

In ten years the expectation of growth of the Latin American community within the United States is that it will reach 90 million people and by then financial institutions are expected to give the importance that this group of migrants deserves.
