A 15-year-old Hispanic teenager was stabbed to death on Monday by an intruder on a high school campus in Stockton, San Joaquin County.

The authorities reported that apparently, the attack against the young Hispanic had been random.

The victim was identified as Alicia Reynaga by her relatives.

Reynaga was attacked at approximately 11 a.m. at Stagg High School and was later pronounced dead at a hospitalStockton Unified School District Superintendent John Ramirez Jr. said at a news conference.

“An intruder entered the front of our school, stabbed one of our students multiple times. Unfortunately, she did not survive. The assailant was immediately arrested and taken into custody,” Ramírez Jr. reported.

The superintendent said that the school was closed to ensure the safety of the rest of the students and stressed that they will immediately work with the local authorities in the investigation of the case.

The attacker was identified as Anthony Gray, 52.

Gray was arrested for involvement in the stabbing of the Hispanic teen and is in custody at the San Joaquin County Jailaccording to the Stockton Police Department.

The authorities anticipated that Gray will be charged with manslaughter..

According to Stockton police investigations, the shooter drove to the high school, walked through a campus gate, and carried out the attack before security and school staff could stop it.

“I just want everyone to know that my daughter was an amazing, smart girl. My daughter had no enemies, my daughter was protected from her all her life, we took her to school and took her back home, “said Manuel, Alicia’s father, who only gave her first name. .
