The New York Yankees were victims of a combined no-hit, no-run game which was delivered by the Houston Astros’ Dominican pitchers Cristian Javier and Héctor Neris, and American closer Ryan Pressly. The match ended 3-0 at Yankees Stadium.

The Yankees, who are currently the winningest team in the MLB, were held back this Saturday by nothing more and nothing less than a no-hitter, no-run game that was started by Cristian Javier, who shone from the mound for seven innings in the who struck out 13 rivals and gave away only one walk.

For his part, Héctor Neris, also from the Dominican Republic, continued his compatriot’s deed by relieving him by throwing a blank episode in which he got a bit complicated, granting two bases on balls, but ended up resolving without consequences.

The last episode featured the closed Ryan Pressly, who fully complied with the requirement and got the zero with two strikeouts to also achieve his 15th save of the season.
