This Friday, the dollar says goodbye to the week in positive territory in its price against the Aztec currency, by quoting the exchange rate at 20.26 units of pesos per dollar.

At the bank window, the advance of the US currency is also notable, both for buying and selling it exceeds the barrier of 20 pesos per dollar. For the purchase, the Mexican currency is quoted at 20.02 units per dollar and for the sale the price is 20.50 pesos per green currency.

The Mexican peso has not had a good week, at the end of it accumulates a depreciation of 2.19% or what is equal to 43.3 cents on the dollar. Analysts insist that the threat of the Delta variant of Covid-19 puts markets on hold again, in addition to the possibility of less flexible monetary policy by the Federal Reserve.

Experts consider the possibility that the US economy will lose momentum, however it will not be so serious. They believe that the country has investors and consumers who have confidence in economic growth.
