Hyun Sook Cho, a 59-year-old woman, died yesterday after being stabbed multiple times in her Queens home, and NYPD arrested her 20-year-old son as a suspect in the crime.

Officers responded to a home at 191st St. near Station Road, Auburndale neighborhood, around 2 p.m. Friday. There they found the victim face down on a bed and covered in blood, police said. Paramedics took her to New York Presbyterian Hospital Queens, where she was pronounced dead.

A neighbor who identified himself only as Harry, 51, told the Daily News that he had seen the victim’s husband run into their home, and police arrived shortly thereafter.

Officers then led Dennis Cho, the woman’s son, out in handcuffs. He was charged with manslaughter, assault, obstructed breathing, and other charges, police said.

“They were always fighting,” the neighbor added about the mother and her son. According to him, police officers had been to the family’s home for loud arguments on numerous occasions, most recently on Christmas Eve.

No further information on the motive for the crime was available at this time. All charges are mere accusations, and the persons prosecuted are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
