Immortalized: LA Galaxy unveils statue honoring Landon Donovan

This Sunday he was immortalized in the stadium Dignity & Health Sports Park the legend of LA Galaxy Landon donovan, just before the game against LAFC, which ended with a score of 1-1.

The former American footballer was honored with a statue, which was unveiled during a mini ceremony headed by league commissioner Don Gerber.

As if celebrating an eternal goal will be for posterity the legendary attacker, who to much merit figures as the second top scorer in Major League Soccer (MLS), with 145 goals in 15 seasons.

After the ceremony Donovan posed for photos with various fans and supported the LA Galaxy during the match.

Donovan was also admitted to the LA Galaxy Ring of Honor, to accompany figures like Mauricio Cienfuegos, David Beckham, Doug Hamilton and Cobi Jones.
