The Attorney General’s Office (FGR) brought criminal charges against Jessica Johana Oseguera González, alias “La Negra,” daughter of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, “El Mencho,” leader of the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation (CJNG), for the alleged crime of money laundering.
As far as is known, in February of this year, the Mexican Attorney General’s Office filed an investigation against “La Negra” before a supervisory judge and placed various seized assets, including a bank account with presumably illicit funds, at his disposal.
It is also important to highlight that last year, a judge based in Jalisco granted Oseguera González an injunction against the precautionary seizure of a bank account for which she was being investigated for her alleged responsibility in the crime of operations with resources of illicit origin.
What is the FGR accusing “El Mencho’s” daughter of?

However, the Second Collegiate Court in Criminal Matters with residence in Jalisco revoked the amparo to the daughter of Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes and Rosalinda González Valencia, alias “La Jefa,” after the FGR challenged it and notified that the legal situation of the young woman changed by taking criminal action against her.
Jessica Johanna Oseguera González challenged the order issued by the Specialized Unit for the Investigation of Operations with Resources of Illicit Proceeds and Forgery or Alteration of Currency, which determined the ministerial precautionary seizure of the bank account.
It is worth remembering that the daughter of “El Mencho,” leader of the Jalisco Cartel – New Generation (CJNG), was imprisoned for two years in the United States after she was arrested in February when she entered the federal court in Washington, where the hearing of her brother Rubén Oseguera González took place.
As we have mentioned in other news articles of American Post News, as far as we know, Jessica Johana Oseguera has dual nationality, having been born in California, United States. However, she has spent most of her life in Mexico.
Oseguera Gonzalez’s academic background has been in Mexico for most of her life. She graduated with a degree in Marketing from the Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Occidente (ITESO).
