The current owners of a penthouse in Tribeca, New York that once belonged to actress Jennifer Connelly have had to lower their asking price due to a lack of takers.

The property initially went on the real estate market for $12 million but was recently lowered to $10.8 million.

The luxury penthouse was owned from 2008 to 2012 by Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Connelly and her husband, Paul Bettany. The two paid $7 million for the property and ended up selling it for $8.49 million in an off-market real estate deal.

It is unknown if the property has had any remodeling done or if its price increase is just due to the passage of time.

The penthouse is located in a historic building built in 1856 and spans 4,000 square feet spread over four bedrooms, two full baths, a foyer, living room, library, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and other amenities.

Among the features that stand out in this property are its high ceilings, exposed wood beams, hardwood floors, large windows with stunning views, and more.
