The long shadow of Selena Gomez has never stopped haunting Justin Bieber, and vice versa. Many of his fans have not yet overcome the umpteenth breakup they starred in 2018 and which ended up being the final one, because a few months later he got engaged to his current wife Hailey.
ANDThis Monday it was the turn of the famous singer to face his sentimental past and the commotion that still continues to generate as it passes through the MET Gala 2021 accompanied by Hailey. The couple arrived together on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art and quite predisposed to pose for the photographers gathered there, something that is not always usual for Justin.
However, the situation quickly became very uncomfortable when several of the onlookers who had gathered to witness the arrival of the celebrities began to chant the name of Selena. They were quickly joined by many others and in a video now circulating on social media you can see both Justin and Hailey keeping an impassive face while listening to those chants.
The lack of reaction on their part could be due to a matter of pure resignation because both have spoken on several occasions about the obsession that continues to exist around ‘Jelena’, that is, the couple that Justin and Selena formed in their day . In March 2019, the interpreter came up against rumors that claimed that he had married Hailey in record time to ‘get revenge’ on his ex, assuring that Selena would always occupy a place in his heart, but that he was madly in love with his wife.
In April of that same year Hailey published her own message stating that she would not allow that the “delusional fantasies” of some “strangers” affect their relationship, to then recommend to all who expressed their opinion on the matter to turn the page as both Justin and she had done.
