PUERTO RICO – Two people were killed and six injured in a shooting early Saturday morning at a nightclub in Santurce, San Juan.
The double murder occurred at the Karma Lounge business, located on Dos Hermanos Street in Santurce, according to a police statement.
The “Shotspotter” gunshot detection system alerted the police about gunshots fired at the place, resulting from an argument.
Upon arrival, officers found the bodies of a man and a woman with gunshot wounds inside the establishment.
Six people were also injured in the incident and had to be taken to different hospitals in the metropolitan area.
The Homicide Division of the San Juan Criminal Investigations Corps is investigating the incident. So far, the police have not reported any arrests related to the case.
