At the dawn of 2023, the music scene witnessed the rise of Karol G, a Colombian singer whose album “Mañana será bonito” hit the top spot on the U.S. Latin chart. Her presence on international music charts has been growing steadily, as she quickly became one of the most streamed artists worldwide.
Karol G recently garnered attention on Instagram when she posted a video featuring her in a little black dress. The post not only showcased the figure she’d achieved for the Barbie premiere but also announced the launch of a new project slated for August 11, 2023. The Bichota performer’s upcoming work has already created quite a buzz on social media.

It’s worth noting that the upcoming project is an enhanced version of an album she released a few months back. The original album set a record by being the first LP from a Spanish-speaking solo artist to top the Billboard 200. The reloaded version is rumored to include the single S91, which has already amassed over 39 million plays on YouTube.
Within an hour of her Instagram post, more than a million likes were recorded. The caption read, “… this Tour would not be the same without the end of this story 🖤 TOMORROW WILL BE BONITO 🦈 BICHOTA SEASON ✨ August 11.”

The Instagram post, featuring Karol G in a tiny black lingerie set, hints at a more audacious sound for her new music project. Responses to the post came quickly, with comments ranging from praises of her daring look to anticipations of an exciting musical journey.
“Tomorrow will be beautiful” is how she described the upcoming album.

This achievement signifies a major milestone for Karol G, who believes she is “making history.” The artist credits months of hard work, dedication, and love for the success of her album. One of her songs, “TQG” with Shakira, is currently one of the most-streamed on YouTube and Spotify.

Reflecting on her journey, the Colombian artist wrote on her Instagram, “After the months, the time invested, the love and efforts that this album has, the ILLUSIONS AND DREAMS, definitely Mañana was Muy bonito… Record for a Latin female album with more than 32 M streams on Spotify, first global #1 on Apple Music Lifetime, and second biggest female debut ever on YouTube … Wow!!!”
Despite initial speculation that she wouldn’t be touring this year, Karol G surprised fans in late April with the announcement of the ‘Mañana será bonito Tour’.
The artist took to Instagram to share the news: “I know I had said no … but with the love for this album and my desire to sing all the songs with you, I couldn’t hold back Mañana Será Bonito Tour is a reality”.

The tour is set to cover multiple dates in various U.S. cities including Las Vegas, Miami, Dallas, Atlanta, San Francisco, New York, Orlando, Los Angeles, Boston, San Antonio, Chicago, and Houston.
