Long Island mother and daughter vanish: the search for Alexandra Hill and Chloe Sokolinski in Suffolk County

Suffolk County police investigate as family fears grow for Alexandra Hill and daughter Chloe, last seen in East Setauket, with a possible New Jersey connection.

Authorities are searching for a missing mother and her 3-year-old daughter from Long Island, who have not been seen for at least four days, while the missing woman’s mother is “sickened” by the situation.

Suffolk County police began the search for Alexandra Hill, 38, and her daughter, Chloe Sokolinski, the agency said in a news release.

“I’m so sick to my stomach,” said Hill’s mother, Pamela Hill of Marysville, Pa.

“I just found out,” she lamented. “No one told me. A friend of Alexandra’s called me because she said it was all in the paper.”

Pamela Hill revealed that her daughter was separated from her ex-husband and has not seen her daughter in just over a year.

“I want to tell her to come home and how much I love her and Chloe,” the grandmother expressed. “I want to be with them. I want to help them.”

Mother and daughter were last seen in East Setauket at the home of the woman’s father and the girl’s grandfather at 8:00 a.m. last Wednesday. The father did not respond to messages left by the New York Post.

Both were last seen traveling in a red Honda Accord and may have been traveling to a relative’s home in New Jersey.
