For many viewers, at some point, they emerged as the winners. However, not only was it not like that, but of the four finalist couples, they were the least voted. LA Opinion had an exclusive interview with Jessica Díaz and Lorenzo Méndez who told them after losing ‘Así Se Baila‘: “We lacked strategy”.
As we have already told you, the winners of the first season of the Telemundo reality show were Gregorio and Luna Pernía; the second Samadhi and Adriano Zendejas; third place was taken by Adrián Di Monte and Sandra Itzel; and the least voted and fourth, Lorenzo and Jéssica.
Minutes after the competition ended, LA Opinion spoke with the Mexican singers, who seem to keep everything they have achieved and not what they lost.
“We take with us a lot of things, anecdotes, moments that will never be forgotten in life, the dance experience, friendships, but more than anything we get believing in ourselves, We are shocked at how well we did things, we are amongst the couples who will remembered“ Lorenzo told LA Opinion us, and Jessica added.
“I take the friendship with my colleagues, they took me to exceed my own limits, because I did not see myself up to this point, and today I believe it, today I know that we are winners… I take a lot of human, emotional, physical learning, overcoming your limits, growth as an artist and as a person ”.
On what they lacked to be the winners and above all, the surprise that they were the least voted, while Jessica opted for silence, Lorenzo was very sincere and point-blank said: “We lacked strategy”.
