Man charged after allegedly stealing dinosaur claw in Arizona

Christopher Thomas was accused of stealing a claw from the showroom of the seller, Eric Miller, who was in Tucson selling fossils. on display Jan. 30, the town’s Police Department said.

The man is facing charges for allegedly stealing a dinosaur claw worth $25,000 from a vendor at a gem show in Arizona.reported the police.

Thomas, 39 years old, tried to sell the claw to another nearby vendor on February 8reported the police authorities, indicating that the vendors have a “close-knit community.”

The man was arrested and charged with trafficking in stolen property.Tucson police reported.

After the man’s arrest, the dinosaur claw was returned to Miller.

“This highlights the importance of vendors/neighbors communicating and working together”said Tucson city officials.
