McDonald’s is one of the most popular fast food chains in the United States and recognized in the world. Although McDonald’s restaurants have not been among the best rated by their customers in the last year, it is one of the busiest chains.
Young people and Hispanics the main clients
A data analytics company called Numerator responds about who is the main type of person you could find eating at McDonald’s. The open data available from the study shows that a majority are people under 24 years old, followed by customers who are between 45 and 54 years old.
Hispanics lead the preferences for McDonald’sfollowed by African Americans and Caucasians in third place.
The order usually includes three items
The typical customer averages 45 visits to the restaurant during the year, buys 3 units and spends about $ 8. The days that customers visit the chain’s locations the most are Fridays and Saturdays.
According to Business Insider, breakfast items account for nearly half of typical McDonald’s customer purchases. There is a high probability that the average customer will buy breakfast sausage sandwiches, French fries, Crispy chicken sandwiches, and French fries.

Using Numerator data analysis, Insider has determined that the average customer who frequents McDonald’s is a married white woman between the ages of 41 and 56, have a bachelor’s degree or attended a university. Her median household income is more than $ 80,000 a year and she probably lives in the southeastern suburbs of the United States.
The hypothetical woman would make 149 visits to fast food restaurants in a year. About a third of these visits would be to McDonald’s.
McDonald’s is the world’s leading foodservice retailer with more than 39,000 locations in more than 100 countries. In the report for the second quarter of 2021, they indicate an increase of 25.9% in compensation sales for one year in the United States.
The company notes that the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and BTS Famous Order promotion, as well as growth in digital and delivery platforms, contributed to sales growth.
