McDonald’s worker shot for delivering cold fries

In New Yorka Worker of McDonald’s received a Shooting and was seriously injured in a fight with customers over cold fries.

The employee, matthew webb23, was confronted by a female customer in her 40s at the fast food restaurant on Fulton Street in the neighborhood Bedford–Stuyvesant of brooklyn around 7 p.m. Monday, law enforcement sources told the New York Daily News.

In the midst of the dispute, the woman was talking to her 20-year-old son, Michael Morgan.

“The mom complained that her fries were cold,” a source told the New York Post. ‘The mother was on FaceTime with her son and he overheard the dispute between her and the employee. The son and the employee had a dispute inside, and he went outside.’

Morgan was later arrested by the NYPD. His record showed 13 prior arrests, including assault and theft of duty in 2018 and grand theft in 2019.

One of Webb’s coworkers described him as a “really nice guy.”

A businessman who saw Webb being loaded into the ambulance said he “took it personally” because his own son had been shot.

“It was really disturbing for me,” he said.
