Meet the characters that join the fifth season of “La Casa de Papel”

With the premiere around the corner, the production revealed which actors are joining the story.

With the premiere of the final part of “The Money Heist” around the corner, there are more and more details that the production reveals about the story that will hit the Netflix catalog on September 3; and now it transpired that two new characters join the most well-known robbery of today.

Through Instagram it was announced that the Spanish series starring Álvaro Morte (“The Professor”) not only comes with more drama and action, as they announced the incorporation of two characters who will come to give a complete turn to the story.

With two short but powerful clips, the fans of the series met “Rafael” AND “René”, two men who, like the rest of the characters, cannot conceive of a life without the adrenaline of robberies.

The first to make himself known was “Rafael”, played by Miguel Ángel Silvestre (Sky Red, Sense8), the sensual boyfriend that Tokio (Úrsula Corberó) lost in a dangerous robbery and who he briefly mentioned in the first season. According to the first images, the adventurous character will show through flashbacks some of the experiences he lived with Tokyo and that made him the risky and unfiltered girl that he is today.

For its part, “René”, played by Patrick Criado (Unauthorized Living, Bajo Cero), came to shock the fandom of “La Casa de Papel after revealing that he is the son of berlin, one of the most beloved and recognized characters in this story.

Although introverted, the young man seems to have the same interests as his father, since in the few seconds that we could see him on screen, he was part of several assaults with him.

The long-awaited last season of “Money Heist” will tell the fate of the band of “The Professor” and It will be divided into two volumes of five chapters each that will be released on September 3 and December 3.
