Miguel Ángel López finished third on the stage and is the best Latino in La Vuelta

The Colombian Miguel Angel Lopez (Movistar), third in the wall of Valdepeñas de Jaén and third also among the great favorites in the general classification, considers that “the important thing” in this Vuelta 2021 is “to spend day by day” and that this Wednesday his team has “done it Super good”.

The Fishing ‘Superman’ congratulated himself that, although this Wednesday “the end of the stage was not as suitable for Movistar as it could be for Roglic, because it was a short and explosive slope”, he and Enric Mas were “very close” of the great favorite.

Despite that good day of the blue team, López is not clear that they can defeat a Roglic who also does not know if his performance will decrease in the last week as in other editions.

“Well, it can happen to him and to us. For now we have to keep adding; one less stage and we are happy because I keep saying that the important thing is to spend day by day in this Vuelta and today we have done it, I think, super good ”, he reflected.

Supermán also wanted to give “thanks to the team for the great job they did” in defense of his options and those of Enric Mas.
