Scott was arrested last Tuesday morning. The situation was inevitable: the cops found him asleep in front of a red light. It was easy to deduce the status of the interim general manager. However, he did not agree to take a breathalyzer test.
After learning what happened in the morning, the Mets did not have any kind of concession: “We take this matter very seriously. Zack will not travel with the team for the next tour, while we will continue to inform ourselves and determine the next steps“.
