Obi Toppin and Karl Anthony Towns, winners of the contests on the night of the All-Star


Obi Toppin and Karl Anthony Towns were the main winners of Saturday night in the NBA All-Star.

Toppin beat Juan Antonio Toscano in the dunk contest, the same one in which he lost to Anfernee Simons last year, and an overall performance of the 4 participants in which no 50 was reached, granted by the jury made up of Clyde Drexler , Dominique Wilkins, David Robinson, Julius Erving, and Isiah Thomas.

In the triples the surprise jumped. Karl Anthony Towns was able to beat Trae Young and Luke Kennard in the finals becoming the first inside player to win in the NBA 3-point contest. Kennard was the best in the first round with 28 points but Towns was able to reach 29 in the final and took the title.

The skills contest was for the Cleveland Cavaliers with the new format made up of teams in which Allen, Garland and Mobley were the best trio of players.
