Octavio Ocaña’s companions give a new twist to the version of the Edomex Prosecutor’s Office

The circumstances around the death of the actor Octavio Ocana They continue to be the subject of discussion and controversy, since the police persecution that ended in his death seems to be full of contradictions.

Ocaña lost his life on October 29, and since then the authorities of the State of Mexico maintain that he died when he accidentally shot himself during the persecution in Cuautitlán Izcalli.

Octavio Ocaña’s family has rejected this version and insist that those responsible for his death were the police. Now, the two young people who accompanied the actor from Neighbors expanded their statements publicly and revealed new details.

How did Octavio Ocaña die?

There are still loose ends in the death of Octavio Ocaña. The actor was 22 years old.

The family lawyer, Francisco Hernandez, exposed the statements of Octavio’s companions through the YouTube channel of journalist Gustavo Adolfo Infante.

“They said they never saw that he could have shot himself, what’s more, one of them even says that he never saw Octavio draw a gun,” said the lawyer.

The lawyer also pointed out that the companions were forced to say that the actor was the owner of the weapon and even denounced that they were tortured, for which they ask for protection from fear of reprisals.

On November 19, two weeks after the event, experts hired by the Ocaña family revealed that he did not shoot himself and that there were discrepancies between what the State of Mexico Prosecutor’s Office said and what really happened.

“I think this is getting worse every day, it is getting thicker every day and I feel that there is a high level of corruption in this matter, ladies and gentlemen. I am in a position to be able to tell you, ”reflected Gustavo Adolfo Infante in another video.

The journalist added that Octavio Ocaña’s companions appeared before the Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office to denounce that they had been tortured and deprived of their liberty.
