The Mexican Raúl Jiménez, Wolverhampton forward, assured that now he enjoys football more than ever, after overcome severe skull injury which he suffered in November 2020.
Jiménez, who already knows what it is to score in this Premier League, was able to return to play this summer after many months out for the skull fracture suffered in a crash against David Luiz at the Emirates Stadium.
“I am enjoying football now more than ever,” the Aztec forward told the BBC. “Because it’s life and you never know when it’s going to end”added.
In this sense, Jiménez complemented: “During the preseason I tried not to go to fouls, to corner kicks, as a precaution, but now I don’t think about it anymore ”.
After a difficult start to the campaign, the Mexican scored his first official goal after the injury (he did another in preseason) against Southampton, and little by little he is making a good couple in attack with South Korean Hwang Hee-Chan.
The Wolverhampton he is eleventh in the standings, with 13 points. This weekend he will face the Everton at the Molineux Stadium.
