Born on April 15, 1965, in Buenos Aires, Molina’s bond with music was established early on. Venturing predominantly into punk rock and reggae, he became a guiding star for numerous artists. Many, from Pericos to Caligaris, have cited him as a monumental influence on their music.

In a heartfelt social media post, Molina’s children confirmed his passing, revealing a year-long battle with cancer that he ultimately lost. “Pablo’s sons and daughters wanted to let you know that our father passed away today after years of fighting cancer. We wanted to thank all his loved ones and fans for all the support they always gave to our father. Rest in power,” they shared.
The announcement elicited an outpouring of sympathy, garnering over 8,000 reactions and 1,600 comments.

In a testament to his legacy, numerous bands, including NONPALADICE, rallied behind Molina in his final days. They organized a benefit concert to fund his medical expenses, ensuring the singer’s needs were met as he battled the illness that had impacted so many generations.

It was on July 4 that Molina had last updated his fans about a surgical procedure he underwent. Sharing a picture from the operating room on his official Instagram, he mentioned the successful removal of a hernia and expressed determination to persist with the liver tumor treatment.

His commitment to his health was evident when, in June 2022, Molina announced his hiatus from live performances. Prioritizing his oncological treatment, he sought the rock and roll community’s support to finance his medical care.
Gratitude poured out of him as he wrote, “Very grateful to all the people, the loving, empathetic public, those who anonymously, selflessly encouraged me, prayed, recommended me help, alternatives, medication, people who went through or are going through the same as me, those who wrote to me and gave me their attention and energy.”
