Rodolfo de Anda dies at 57

His friends, colleagues and family bid him farewell on social networks with emotional messages and photographs.

Rodolfo de Anda, who was one of Televisa’s most prominent producers, grandson of the legendary Raúl de Anda, “El Charro Negro”, of Mexico’s golden cinema, died at the age of 57 for unknown reasons, leaving a legacy of great relevance in the entertainment industry .

Despite keeping a low profile for much of his career, making productions in the so-called ficheras cinema, and some series and B movies with low budgets, was what forged him until he reached“El Pantera“, the series that gave him fame and recognition in Televisa.

The first action series produced by Azcarraga’s company brought together great talents such as Ignacio Lopez Tarso, Andres Garcia, Mario Almada, Iran Castillo, Kate del Castillo, and Alexis Ayala. In the lead role behind Gervasio Robles was Luis Roberto Guzmán.

Raúl Araiza, host of the morning show “Hoy” on Las Estrellas, was another of the actors who published a heartfelt message after the news of his death: “Without another word …a right loving man and friend! Blessings to my rodolf,” he commented on the social network along with several crying faces.

Local media reported that in 2011 he was in severe health because he contracted a dangerous bacteria that made him sick. However, no details were given. It was known that he had to be hospitalized in an emergency and even underwent surgery by doctors.

In total, there were 9 surgeries he underwent, in addition to carrying a cell cloning treatment. Finally, it was reported that he managed to recover satisfactorily, and it was not announced recently that this was the cause of death of the actor. It has been 12 years since then.
