Luong Tammy Huynh, 29, She was stopped by officers at approximately 8:30 p.m. this Sunday as she was returning to her residence on Florence Avenue.in San José, authorities reported Monday in a statement.
Authorities said they located a surveillance video further implicating Tammy Huynh as the person responsible for the van theft and the kidnapping of Jacob Jardine.
The woman was charged with kidnapping, child endangerment and vehicle theft.
Tammy Huynh is currently in custody at the Santa Clara County Main Jail.
At approximately 3:51 a.m. Sunday, the Buick Enclave van was stolen, with Jacob Jardine inside, parking lot of a motel at 590 N. Mathilda Avenue in Sunnyvale as her mother was unloading merchandise she had purchased.
